PWRTHR Does Back Squat Potentiation Clusters

Thought I would share this video of myself doing some potentiation clusters.

I’m not a natural squatter by any length, I much prefer deadlift as I have said in the past. But this method allows me challenge my squat repeatedly at high velocities while keeping movement quality and intensity high. I’ve said it before that naturals need intensity not volume, so finding the best way to apply intensity is crucial.

Outlining the method and warm-up we used in my workout.

Warm-up Back Squat
70kg x 6
100kg x 5
130kg x 3
160kg x 1

Cluster Set
1 x 160kg paired with 1 x box Jump rest 15 second
1 x 160kg paired with 1 x box Jump rest 15 second
1 x 160kg paired with 1 x box Jump rest 15 second
1 x 160kg paired with 1 x box Jump rest 3-5 minutes

repeat 3-4 times
